How to be Motivated to Maintain Your Weight

When it comes to losing weight and maintaining your ideal weight, motivation is a vital force. Without motivation to push you along, it is easy to fall into the trap of yo-yo dieting.

- Read up and educate yourself about health problems that follow yo-yo dieting and obesity.

- Visualize everyday. See yourself as being lean and virile, as enjoying your new found body and relishing the delicious sense of good health.

- Exercise at a level that is comfortable. Remember, the regimen no longer needs to be as punitive as before.

Reaching your target weight impacts every area of your life. It boosts your morale, puts your self confidence on a high and makes you feel attractive. So, when you are tempted or feel disturbed, ask yourself this: is it worth giving it all up for a moment of pleasure?
